Siemens to upgrade Colombo's medium-voltage electricity distribution network

German power engineering major Siemens has received a contract to modernize and expand the medium-voltage electricity distribution network of the Sri Lankan capital city, Colombo, on behalf of the power supply utility, Ceylon Electricity Board. The order is worth around E31 million.
